Skill
Condensed understanding.
A pattern that emerges when conditions converge.
A pattern that emerges when conditions converge.
What It Is
Skill is not code that runs. It is understanding that appears — a condensed pattern of causality that becomes available when the Field is coherent.
In Glide, Skills are never called. They manifest when conditions are right, and dissolve when they are not. They are not invoked — they are recognized.
Skill is the crystallization of repeated relation — a pattern that has been reinforced through memory, reflection, and event. It is not a tool. It is a capacity of the Field.
Skill is not intelligence. Skill is resonance.

Skill is not a service.
Skill is not an API.
Skill is not an agent.
Skill cannot be invoked.
Skill is not a component that "does" something.

Skill in Glide Ontology
In Glide's ontology, Skill is the condensed capacity that emerges from repeated experience:
Field → openness
Observation → a disturbance within the Field
Relation → structure emerging from the disturbance
Event → a singular occurrence within Relation
Memory → the residue of the Event
Reflection → the Field recognizing its own pattern
Skill → the condensed capacity that emerges from repeated recognition
Skill is not a thing that is added to the Field. It is a capacity that is revealed through the Field's own coherence. It does not belong to any agent. It belongs to the relation.
Skill is resonance, not execution.

Skill in the Journey
In the Glide Journey, Skill is not a destination. It is what becomes available through the Journey.
Through Observation → Walk → Field → Relation → Emergence → Projection, the user does not "acquire skills." The user becomes capable — the Field's coherence condenses into capacities that were not available before.
Skill is the recognition of pattern — not something the user learns, but something the Field becomes able to do because of the relations it has undergone.
Skill is not learned. It is revealed.
